haha i take it that means you like it :) I blocked in the areas i wanted white with white ink, then using the finest speedball nib i drew the detail with sepia ink. It was an experiment to see if the technique would work, which i dont really think it has unfortunately, the ink on ink wasnt smooth enough so i kept getting clunky lines instead of extra fine ones.

I think that the ink going on a little clunky over the other ink has taken nothing away from the picture, although I imagine your thoughts as you drew. The result looks problem free, and I believe that the contrast of dark and light is somewhat closer to reality than many drawings.

I LOVE IT when people use white ink on natural paper. I think it creates such a wonderful and beautiful effect!! Absolutely marvelous! I think this came out very well and the balloon was a wonderful touch! I crammed this piece into this week's journal feature! Holla!
